Pregnancy hemmorroids are also well known - there is not much point in avoiding pregnancy just to avoid hemmoroids - but it is good to be aware that the extra load during pregnancy can contribute to the development of hemorrhoids so you have a chance to avoid too heavy lifting etc. Obesity can of course also contribute to hemmorroids - as can all other actions or conditions that increases the load and pressure in the colon area. Smoking is another well known cause of hemmroids for other reasons and should of course be avoided where possible.
It is common to have lighter conditions of hemmroids without any hemroid symptoms but if you notice anyof the symptoms like light bleeding, anal itching or protruding lumps in the anal area - you may very well have got a hemmroid condition. It is worth pointing out though that any condition involving rectal bleeding can be caused by more serious diseases than hemmroids and always warrant a proper examination by your hemmoroids doctor.
