Treating hemmroids (hemmoroids) - Getting rid of hemroids

Hemmroids treatment

There are internal hemmoroids and external hemorrhoids. External hemmroids are when the hemmeroids have prolapsed (outside anus) and may or may not go back in again after a bowel movement.

Internal hemroids are less likely to be painful than the external hemmroids, but if your hemmorroids prolapse during bowel movement or other strain - or if they eventually extend out through the anus - the hemmeroids may become painful and infected or both.

External hemmroids looks and feels like small lumps just outside the anus. External hemmroids can be very sensitive and if the hemmorroids rupture, they can start bleeding and the hemmeroids can then be infected.

Getting rid of hemroids - a summary

The first advice, especially in relatively small hemmorroids cases is to remove the cause of hemorroids first if possible.

hemmroids

It can mean changes to the diet to avoid constipation which is the single most important cause of hemorroids. It can also mean changes to the way you sit during the day, things you lift or other things which contribute to the pressure in the anal veins which in turn will affect the risk of developing hemmorroids (hemmeroids)..

Cleanliness in the anal area, sitz baths, cures using witch hazel etc are good general advice for curing hemroids. You may have to avoid using your normal toilet tissue, use something softer, or in bad cases wash with water only.

Haemroid (hemrod) surgery

Hemmroid removal in difficult cases comes down to hemmoroid surgery or injection therapy. There is also an infrared treatment of haemmorroids available.
